Add Google Adsense in Feeds

Feeds is a popular way by which users can read from multiple blogs in a single place called a Feed Reader. Adding Google AdSense ads to your feeds require several steps, but luckily, they are not too difficult.

With the increasing popularity of visitors using feed readers, bloggers have noticed a drastic loss in the revenue generated ad their is a loss in the number of page views. However, as Google owns Blogger, AdSense and Feedburner ( the most popular tool to create ( burn ) your feeds ), Google has make the task simple for inserting ads in feeds.


Follow these steps to configure Google AdSense in your feeds:-

  • Enter your blog`s URL in the long textbox and click the Next button.

  • You will be presented with the Identity Feed Source window. Select the RSS Feed option.

  • If you already have an account at Feedburner, just Sign In. Otherwise, insert the necessary information to have a new account.

  • You will be presented with your Feedburner Feed URL. Copy this URL and go to Settings in the Blogger dashboard.

  • The Basic Settings page will open. Go to the Site Feed menu and paste the URL at the FeedBurner Feed URL textbox.

  • Then, return to your Feedburner page and click on Skip Directly to Feed Management.

  • Now, go to the Monetize tab and sign in with your Google AdSense account. Go to Get Ads and choose Ads for Feed.

You can customize the ads for feeds at the Manage Ads section in the AdSense dashboard and you can add new features at the Feedburner dashboard. So, navigate through the different tabs of the dashboards and try to understand the various options.
